Christian Di Giorgio

After gaining a degree in economics from Cambridge University and a successful career in investment banking, Christian became inspired by the power and breadth of osteopathy and naturopathy and quit the rat race for good. Training first as a massage therapist, he later graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine with a first class honours degree, winning awards for both clinical and academic excellence. He has also completed post-graduate courses in Western Medical Acupuncture and Paediatrics.

Christian has practiced yoga intensively for 8 years including a rigorous 2 year training program to become a certified Iyengar yoga instructor and currently teaches at Yogaloft in Queens Park. He has also had research published on the long term effects of Iyengar yoga.

 


 

To cope with the demands of a stressful professional life and through experiences gained whilst living in Japan for over 5 years, Christian has developed a strong meditation and pranayama (breathing) practice which he has found invaluable with many of his patients

Christian is a single-figure handicap golfer, keen rock climber and experienced ski/snowboarder which means he can understand the physical and mental demands of his most exacting patients.

Italian parentage and the privilege of living in Asia has instilled a passion for simple, tasty, high quality whole foods.

Christian is a keen photographer and relishes any feedback, both positive or negative, on his work- all photos on this site are his!

Through careful diagnosis, strong and effective hands on technique, tailored dietary and exercise advice and breathing exercises, Christian cares deeply about improving and maintaining the health and happiness of his patients.
